EMDR Intensive Therapy offers a safe, focused way to heal more deeply and efficiently.
Unlike traditional weekly therapy, intensives give us uninterrupted time to process trauma, anxiety, and grief at a pace your system can handle — creating lasting shifts in days rather than months.
“Healing doesn’t have to take forever. Sometimes it just needs space, focus, and care.”
Research shows that intensive trauma therapy can help people achieve significant results in a shorter time.
These extended sessions allow for deeper integration and fewer interruptions, supporting your nervous system in completing the healing process that trauma once paused.
EMDR intensives are best suited for:
We only proceed once we’ve prepared your system to feel grounded, resourced, and ready.
Care and safety are at the heart of everythingI do
Depending on readiness, an additional preparation session may be needed (£75–£90).
Payment Terms: 50% deposit required at booking, with the remaining 50% due the day before your intensive.

6–7 Hours (Tailored for existing, returning, or adjunct clients who’ve done EMDR before.)
This bespoke intensive provides time and care to work through multiple related memories, patterns, or deep-rooted beliefs in a safe, contained space.
The process is always adapted to your needs — sometimes we go deeper, sometimes we pause and reflect.
Includes:
An additional 50-minute preparation session (£75) may be recommended, especially when working with developmental trauma or childhood abuse, to ensure the highest levels of safety and care.
Each intensive is individualised and trauma-informed, balancing depth with regulation.
We take regular breaks, work mindfully with your body, and use somatic grounding, Flash, or Brainspotting techniques where helpful.
In standard therapy, it may take months to reach the root of trauma. With EMDR intensive therapy, you can achieve the same breakthroughs in just a few days. This approach helps you:
EMDR intensives are best for people who already have some experience with therapy or EMDR and want to move through something specific with care and support. We’ll assess readiness together.
Safety is central to my work. I’m experienced in helping clients manage distress and use Flash, somatic resourcing, and parts-informed grounding to maintain stability. We take regular breaks and stay attuned to your system throughout.
Yes — EMDR intensives can be adjunct therapy, helping you clear a block so your ongoing therapy can continue with greater ease.
Absolutely. I regularly provide adjunct EMDR intensive sessions for clients who are stuck on a specific core belief, memory, or emotional block.
We work collaboratively — your client can attend intensives with me and continue their regular therapy with you.
My approach is fully attachment- and parts-informed, ensuring the client’s safety, consent, and continuity of care are prioritised.
Please email me if you’d like further details or an information sheet about this process.
Before your intensive, you’ll receive a personalised workbook and resourcing plan to help you feel supported before, during, and after our work together.
No two intensives are alike. We design them together — based on your readiness, goals, and nervous-system capacity.
Some clients use an intensive as a focused piece of work within ongoing therapy, while others take time away to complete a specific area of healing before continuing their journey.
Safety and connection guide every decision.
If an intensive isn’t suitable after assessment, I’ll recommend trusted EMDR colleagues who specialise in online intensives or other trauma-informed approaches.
If you’re ready to take a focused step in your healing journey, EMDR intensives offer a safe, accelerated way to process the past and reconnect with your strength.
