“When we slow down and listen to the body, healing begins.”

What is Brainspotting?

You may not have heard of Brainspotting before — and that’s okay.

It’s a newer, body-based therapy that grew out of EMDR and is now used worldwide to support trauma recovery and emotional healing.

Brainspotting helps you process and release what’s held deep in the brain and body — the feelings, memories, or patterns that talking alone can’t always reach.

What Brainspotting Can Help With

It works gently and naturally, using eye positions and mindful awareness to access the body’s innate ability to heal.

Many clients describe Brainspotting as deeply calming and freeing — especially when they know they’re safe, yet part of them still feels tense or on alert.

I often combine Brainspotting with EMDR or talk therapy, depending on what feels right for you. Each approach supports healing in different ways, and part of my role is to help you discover what your system responds to best.

“It’s not about changing who you are — it’s about helping all parts of you find peace together.”

“You don’t have to relive your trauma to heal from it.”

Brainspotting and the Body

Brainspotting is a body-based therapy — it recognises that trauma lives not just in the mind, but in the body.

That’s why we often focus on physical sensations during the session, such as tightness, warmth, or movement.

As your brain processes, you may notice sensations shift, ease, or release.

This is a sign that the body is letting go of stored stress and emotional pain.

How It Feels

People often describe Brainspotting as deeply calming and transformative.

You may experience gentle waves of emotion, physical sensations, or moments of insight during and after a session.

Many clients say Brainspotting allows them to experience release, clarity, and reconnection in ways traditional talk therapy alone didn’t reach.

“Healing happens when the mind and body reconnect.”

Brainspotting sessions are offered online and last 50–90 minutes, depending on your needs and the depth of work.
